Our story.
Founded in 1988, RDA teaches dancers from age 2 through adulthood. Meet our founder, learn how we place students, and see what guides our teaching.

One studio.
Generations of dancers.
It started
with Carol Ann.
Carol Ann Maggiotto
opens the studio.
Carol Ann Maggiotto opened RDA in 1988 to bring her experience in dance and the performing arts to Rowlett.
Over the years, the studio has taught generations of local dancers. Today, former students bring their own children through the same doors.
Since then, RDA dancers have earned scholarships, entered performing arts programs, and continued into professional dance. Students can also continue dancing for the enjoyment of learning and performing.

How we teach.
Encouragement, technique, and goals that fit the dancer.
A place to beginEncouragement
from the first class.
We introduce movement at a pace that suits each class, encourage questions, and give dancers space to try again. Beginners can focus on learning without needing to get everything right on day one.
